At the crossroads of engraving and painting, the designs tell a story in the manner of a painting. They’re designed in a French studio, while the printing, weaving and finishing are entrusted to a historical workshop based in India. These traditional techniques enrich each other to produce unique pieces, the result of a long-term process.
This original approach allows us to pay attention to every detail: the softness of the fibre, the brilliance of the printing, the sharpness of the silk-screening, the solidity of the weaving... The women's scarves tell a real unique story, symbolising our conquest of the wonderful. We’ve always been involved at every stage with the aim to leave an indelible mark on our creations, without ever compromising and sacrificing quality. With this in mind, our designs are timeless feminine pieces that last through the seasons and stay in your heart.
Inoui Editions has adapted to summer and mid-season by creating its women's scarves with a light cotton. The cotton scarves retain the voluminous format of the other models in the range, as well as their softness and woven endings. Easy to tie around the neck, each creation takes up the emblematic designs of our collections. The plant-inspired motifs are enhanced by a singular colour palette to bring out the best out of them.
Our quest for quality is particularly evident in our printed wool scarves, a guarantee of comfort in the heart of winter. Our House has selected a fibre that is both fine and warm, to keep its elegance in the face of the lowest temperatures. Each model is available in a generous size with woven endings. Inspired by talented illustrators in France that makes sure you find designs that always suit and adapt in your current mood.
Pure or mixed with modal, silk is the preferred fibre for our range of printed scarves. It is sublimated by ancestral weaving techniques, with twill and herringbone in the lead. The former has barely perceptible oblique stripes, synonymous with softness and flexibility and the latter offers a velvet touch with discrete points.
The printed silk square is a refined accessory, representative of the French style. Its ideal shape allows you to let your imagination run wild: tie it on the neckline or the handle of a bag to enhance your look. The vaporous texture of the fabric gives it an impeccable fit. Each model has a fine ribbed twill weave, which brings out the full richness of our colour range.
